A global conversational AI company hired M&Co to establish its presence in the North American media market. The pandemic intensified competition in the industry which was dominated by a few companies. Our client was sued by one of those companies for patent infringement and succeeded in bringing anti-trust counter-claims. Besides wanting to prevail in the litigation, the company wanted to advance its standing as one of the most experienced companies in the market with cutting-edge conversational AI technology.
M&Co built a two-track strategy that provided a blueprint for increasing the company’s share of voice in the media on both the competitive advantages of its technology and solutions and its claims and defenses in the litigation. Key to the strategy was bringing attention to how its key competitor used its monopoly position to unfairly stifle competition and suppress technology innovation.
In close coordination with legal counsel, M&Co secured interviews and byline placements for the firm’s spokespeople in Financial Times, AiThority, Tech Talks, Unite AI, Speech Technology Magazine, AI Tech Park, Biometric Update, CIO US, No Jitter, The Fourth Industrial Revolution, This Week in Voice, Unite AI, and CIO Review, to name a few.
