Opportunity

Our client, a leading independent biomethane solutions provider in Europe, wanted to raise brand awareness in the U.S. about its mission to harness the potential behind biomethane production to achieve negative emissions.

They offer services across the entire value chain: from biomethane production to its use for power, heating, and transport. Additionally, they provide greenhouse gas quota solutions and CO2 management strategies aimed at permanently removing CO2 from the atmosphere.

Well-known in Europe, they were looking to build their presence in the U.S. market and contribute to the growing dialogue on clean energy and climate action.

Solution

To raise the client’s visibility in the U.S., we worked to:

  1. Increase awareness of their mission beyond the media to engage key stakeholders such as research institutions, universities, and advocacy organizations.
  2. Differentiate the brand from other biomethane producers, positioning the client as a global leader in the industry.

We worked with the client to craft a compelling narrative, identify newsworthy angles and develop contributed content that effectively communicated the company’s unique value proposition and their success with carbon removal.

Results

Our media relations efforts, combined with conference support, effectively leveraged the client’s internal resources and thought leaders to build credibility and establish their presence in the U.S. We secured media introductions with top-tier media outlets, including Bloomberg, as well as industry-specific publications like Carbon Pulse and Industrial Info Resources.

Additionally, our stakeholder program has facilitated strategic engagements with key client stakeholders. Through targeted and effective renewable energy PR outreach, we have cultivated strong relationships that have increased visibility among industry leaders, enhancing brand recognition and market positioning.

Specific key initiatives include managing their participation and speaking engagements at conferences such as Carbon Unbound and VERGE, which have facilitated partnerships with organizations like the Carbon Business Council and Rocky Mountain Institute.Â
