Nicole Alvarez

Nicole is a Senior Associate at Montieth & Company, where she provides corporate communication strategies and media research for professional service clients across several industries including compliance, cybersecurity, data & analytics, AI, and more.

Prior to joining Montieth & Company, Nicole worked extensively in international affairs. She previously worked as a Project Manager at the Oceano Azul Foundation where she implemented international communication strategies aimed at supporting global ocean policy and conservation efforts. Nicole also worked as a Policy Specialist for Swift Communications, where she researched and monitored policy developments for new and emerging global investment opportunities in Angola.

Nicole earned her B.A. in International Security & Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University and completed her M.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon, Portugal. She has advanced knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese, and has lived and worked in Lisbon, Portugal. Nicole currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
