Situation

A number of financial services firms offered to lend the City of Detroit over $2 billion against its art collection at the Detroit Institute for the Arts in order for the city to emerge from bankruptcy.

Solution

A project of this scale required extensive communications counsel, and we worked with the clients to determine the best issues management communications language strategy throughout the entire process.

Results

We secured media coverage of the loan in The New York Times, among other top-tier publications.
