O’Dwyer’s: Montieth & Company Promotes Vote Mama

    by M&Co. Staff

Montieth & Company signs on to work with Vote Mama, a national organVote mamaization that recruits, endorses and coaches mothers with children under 18 who aspire to hold political office. The agency will advise Vote Mama on its rebranding and a communications strategy for all three of its organizational arms—Vote Mama PAC (which endorses moms running for office), Vote Mama Action Fund (which provides political campaign training) and Vote Mama Foundation (which does research). “The Vote Mama Foundation is working to break the systemic hurdles that mothers face while running for office and that legislators face while fighting for family-friendly legislation, starting with making Campaign Funds for Childcare available in all 50 states. We needed a partner who can make sure that our brand embodies the important work that we’ve done and continue to do,” said Vote Mama founder Liuba Grechen Shirley.

    JOANN

DeVries Global is named public relations agency of record for fabric and craft retailer JOANN. DeVries will help the brand shape its earned media and influencer strategy to raise the profile of its crafting and sewing supplies, which are available through its ecommerce site, app and more than 865 stores. Efforts will also promote the brand’s education and inspiration offerings, including online classes, YouTube tutorials, and how-to’s hosted on its Creativebug platform. “We look forward to partnering with DeVries Global to share the stories of our amazing customers, many of whom we call our ‘Handmade Heroes’ as they create to give for charitable causes in their communities,” said JOANN director of corporate communications, diversity & inclusion Amanda Hayes.

FRANZInk & Roses adds i-ON Skincare, trichologist Bridgett Hill and FRANZ Skincare USA to its roster of beauty clients. The agency will support all three clients with brand positioning and messaging counsel, product launch activity, earned consumer and trade media relations and influencer outreach. i-ON Skincare, which is launching in March, will offer products utilizing an “age-disrupting technology” based on the brand’s research into the correlation between iron levels and health. Known as “The Scalp Therapist” Bridgette Hill provides bespoke scalp analysis. FRANZ Skincare USA develops products that include a microcurrent mask system, serums and moisturizers.
