Ioana Veleanu Botzoman

Ioana is a Senior Manager at Montieth & Company spearheading strategic media relations and branding programs for global clients across sectors. She has more than 18 years of experience developing and leading integrated marketing and communications strategies and an extensive background in journalism and working in the media.

In 2001, Ioana co-founded an English-language magazine in Berlin, Germany, and through the publication’s advertising earnings and subscription revenue turned it into a profitable business in less than two years. Since then, she’s worked with B2B tech and professional service firms to leverage her expertise across media relations, lead and demand generation, content development, graphic design and branding to develop integrated communications programs that helped advance her clients’ business objectives.

Ioana earned her M.A. in international journalism from the City University of London and holds a J.D. from the University of Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne. She is fluent in English, French, and Romanian. In her free time, Ioana enjoys travel, art and dreams about growing vegetables in the backyard she doesn’t have.
