Fatimah Asad

Fatimah Asad is an intern at Montieth & Company, working on marketing the firm, SEO, research and supporting the company’s operations. She is a student at Queens College, pursuing a major in computer science and a minor in business as part of an honors program.

She was a research intern at the New York State Clean Energy (NYSERDA) working on a new carbon reduction mobile app solution project. She also interned and volunteered with the CUNY Research Scholars programs and with advocacy organizations, including YAYA Network, YWCA Girls Initiatives, Red Cross, Tap Animation, NYC Human Rights Commission’s Youth for Equity and Solidarity Council.

Fatimah was born in Queens, New York, and has lived in NYC her whole life. In her free time, she reads, learns new languages and contributes to her school newspaper, The Knight News. She is fluent in Bengali and is learning Arabic.
