Annual Brussels summit of leading European communications executives

New York/London, July 7, 2016–Montieth & Company, Ltd., a specialist communications consultancy, announced that Montieth M. Illingworth, CEO and Global Managing Partner, addressed the premier association of European corporate communications executives today on crisis management best practices in Brussels. Drawing on his decades of experience advising clients worldwide on a diverse range of issues—crisis management and litigation matters—Illingworth provided insights on how organizations can optimally plan for, manage, and prevail in the face of some of their most critical challenges.

“It was an honor to address this esteemed group of European communications executives and be able to contribute so substantially to this year’s conference,” said Illingworth. “Crises are the same everywhere in the world in terms of their potential and actual impact on organizations and individuals. Our best practices apply across borders.”

This is the 10th annual summit of the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD). Illingworth was invited to speak jointly by the EACD and supporting sponsor thenetworkone, a London-based consultancy that builds independent agency networks for marketing and communications executives.

Illingworth focused his address on Montieth & Company’s proprietary Enterprise Risk Management strategic planning and crisis management analytical model. He then went through a series of core learnings for optimizing crisis management, including regulatory and litigation matters.
